| We are a semiprofessional
dance troupe of ladies and gentlemen recreating dances of the
18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. We perform Victorian,
Civil War, and Spanish California; as well as French baroque,
Colonial American, Ragtime and other historic eras. We add color
and authenticity at museum events, festivals, and reenactments
throughout the southland. Some of our recent to past engagements include: |
Return
of the Swallows (March): At
the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Heritage Day
(April): At the historic and beautiful Banning Residence.
French Festival
(July): Santa Barbara, featuring a time line of French historical
dance in celebration of Bastile Day.
Pirates Festival
(October): At Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Moorepark Civil War
reenactment (November)
A Victorian Christmas
(December): Featuring dances of the late Victorian period at
the Banning residence.
Campo de Cahuenga
(January): At the historic site of the signing of the 1847 treaty
ceding California to the United States.
Dana Adobe
(May): Heritage day in Nipomo 2004 to 2007.
