We are a semiprofessional dance troupe of ladies and gentlemen recreating dances of the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. We perform Victorian, Civil War, and Spanish California; as well as French baroque, Colonial American, Ragtime and other historic eras. We add color and authenticity at museum events, festivals, and reenactments throughout the southland. Some of our recent engagements include:
Return of the Swallows (March): At the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Heritage Day (April): At the historic and beautiful Banning Residence.
French Festival (July): Santa Barbara, featuring a time line of French historical dance in celebration of Bastile Day.
Pirates Festival (October): At Mission San Juan Capistrano.
Moorepark Civil War reenactment (November)
A Victorian Christmas (December): Featuring dances of the late Victorian period at the Banning residence.
Campo de Cahuenga (January): At the historic site of the signing of the 1847 treaty ceding California to the United States.
